Warner Music India launches three new channels on JioTV

Warner Music India, the foremost music label in the country, debuted three of its music channels on JioTV recently. Desi Music Station, Punjabi Melodies, and Bhojpuri Junction are the three music channels that are now available on JioTV.

JioTV, widely regarded as the super-app of entertainment, is India’s biggest streaming platform, boasting over 900 channels across 16+ languages and 12 genres.

This partnership enables JioTV subscribers to access Warner Music India’s vast collection of over 70 hours of music from some of the most renowned musicians in various genres, including Armaan Malik, Aastha Gill, Badshah, and Diljit Dosanjh

These music channels will stream music ranging from the latest hits and evergreen songs to devotional songs and bhakti music. These music channels are now available on the JioTV app, allowing Jio sim users to stream their favorite songs in their preferred language on the go.

Warner Music India has been expanding its presence in both Hindi and non-Hindi music since its inception. Last year, the music label entered the Gujarati and Marathi music industries with the release of “Lakiro” and “Ved.”

Prior to this, they launched their regional folk music label, “Maati.” The music label has also formed strategic partnerships with Sky Digital and Global Music Junction for Punjabi and Bhojpuri music, respectively. Earlier this month, Warner Music India was in the news for acquiring a majority stake in the Chennai-based digital media and music company, Divo.

Their alliance with JioTV now expands their reach in the country, with the streaming platform’s extensive user base in tier II and tier III cities.
