TM Talent Management has signed singer Shilpa Rao for exclusive representation, bringing one of India’s most recognisable playback voices onto its roster.

Shilpa Rao, whose work spans Hindi, Telugu and Tamil film industries as well as independent and international projects, has built a career marked by both consistency and range. She first gained attention with “Tose Naina / Javeda Zindagi” from Anwar (2007), and went on to deliver songs such as “Khuda Jaane” (Bachna Ae Haseeno), “Ghungroo” (War), “Besharam Rang” (Pathaan) and “Chaleya” (Jawan).

Her recent run of releases has also translated into awards recognition. “Ghungroo” earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, while “Besharam Rang” and “Chaleya” picked up multiple honours across Filmfare, Zee Cine Awards and the National Film Awards. In Telugu, “Chuttamalle” won her Best Female Playback Singer at the SIIMA Awards.

Outside of film music, Shilpa Rao has collaborated across formats and markets, including work with Anoushka Shankar on Love Letters and appearances on platforms such as Coke Studio.

Mumbai-based TM Talent Management works across artist marketing, profiling and representation, with a focus on award campaigns, media strategy, brand partnerships and long-term career development. The agency represents a roster of contemporary Indian artists and continues to expand its footprint across the music and entertainment ecosystem.
