The Hello Group has announced the signing of Canadian-Indian singer-songwriter Jonita Gandhi to an exclusive worldwide management and bookings deal, excluding India.
Recognized as one of the most versatile and influential South Asian artists of her generation, Jonita Gandhi has built a career that bridges mainstream Bollywood, regional cinema, and the global independent music scene. Her unique artistry blends Pop, R&B, and Dancehall, earning her a devoted international audience of over 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify and billions of streams across platforms.
Jonita’s discography highlights both her versatility and scale. She has delivered celebrated playback performances in films including Ishq Vishk Rebound (“Soni Soni”), Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (“Yedi”), Rocky Aur Rani (“What Jhumka?”), and Brahmāstra (“Deva Deva”). Alongside her film work, she has released acclaimed independent projects, including her EP Love Like That and her recent single Beparwai. Her growing international presence has seen her perform on some of the world’s most iconic stages, from Lollapalooza to the JUNO Awards, where Love Like That earned a 2025 nomination for South Asian Music Recording of the Year.
Her collaborations reflect her dual strength: deep roots in India and global appeal. She has worked with A.R. Rahman, Pritam, Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla, Darshan Raval, and Divine, while also collaborating with global acts such as The Chainsmokers. Notably, her feature on the South Asian version of “Addicted” with The Chainsmokers and Zerb—A&R’d by Taylor Jones at THG—was among the first projects linking Jonita with The Hello Group, paving the way for this expanded partnership.
The new agreement will see The Hello Group support Jonita’s next phase through international releases, global touring, and cross-cultural collaborations.
Jonita Gandhi said:
“I’m excited to take my career to new heights with The Hello Group handling my international management. I’ve known Taylor Jones for a couple of years and I really value his passion and focus on authenticity and excellence.”
Taylor Jones, CEO of The Hello Group, said:
“This moment has been carefully built on time, trust, and a shared vision. Jonita is an extraordinary artist, and I’m immensely proud of how she continues to evolve. My team and I are fully committed to fueling her global ambitions, and we can’t wait for the world to experience her next chapter.”
This signing further strengthens The Hello Group India’s role as a powerhouse for South Asian talent and underscores its mission to create meaningful crossover opportunities for artists while connecting them with audiences worldwide.
