MGMH Groove, a music distribution network, has announced a series of strategic partnerships aimed at broadening the scope of services available to artists and labels.

These partnerships include collaborations with Snafu for financial advances, Group Speed for global playlist pitching, and additional services like TikTok management and marketing solutions.

According to Ritnika Nayan, founder of MGMH Groove and former India head of CD Baby and Downtown Music, the goal is to adapt to the rapidly changing music industry by providing more than just distribution. “It’s about offering comprehensive artist services and helping them seize new opportunities,” Nayan said.

The new services include:

  • Advances and Marketing Support: Partnerships with Snafu, Group Speed, and All By Play to provide financial backing and global marketing strategies.
  • Label and Artist Distribution Packages: A package designed for established labels, featuring tailored deals, YouTube MCN services through a Tier-A partner, and global pitching.
  • Support Tools for Artists: Services such as TikTok management, festival pitching, music video discounts (via Rotor Videos), legal aid (via Lexic), and mental health resources (via Pause).

MGMH Groove’s latest moves reflect a broader trend in the industry, where distribution companies are taking on a more active role in artist development. By integrating these services, MGMH Groove aims to help Indian artists and labels navigate the complexities of the modern music landscape.
