Saregama steps into live entertainment with a new Dubai arm dedicated to large-scale music festivals.

Saregama India Limited has completed the incorporation of its wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, formalising its entry into the Middle East’s live entertainment and performing arts market.

The new entity, Saregama Performing Arts and Music Festivals L.L.C S.O.C, has been established in Dubai Mainland, UAE. Its Certificate of Incorporation and commercial licence were issued on February 20, 2026.

The subsidiary has been incorporated with a paid-up capital of AED 1,000,000, divided into 1,000 shares of AED 1,000 each. Saregama India holds 100 per cent of the shareholding, retaining full ownership and control. The investment has been made through cash consideration and the company has classified the entity as a related party.

Operationally, the Dubai-based arm will focus on live and digital entertainment formats, with a mandate covering performing arts and music festivals. Its scope of work includes event organisation and management, musical band operations, laser and light shows, artist contracting, live theatrical productions, and visual arts festivals.

The move follows earlier board approval and reflects Saregama’s growing emphasis on building capabilities in live entertainment and experiential formats. Alongside its recorded music, film, and digital businesses, the company has been steadily expanding into events and artist-led programming.

By setting up a base in Dubai Mainland, Saregama gains direct access to one of the region’s most active cultural and entertainment markets, positioning itself for regional collaborations and large-scale productions.

The incorporation marks a concrete step in the company’s international expansion plans, as it looks to develop structured operations for festivals, performances, and artist-led projects outside India.
