Warner Music India has expanded its Artist Services & Expanded Rights (ASER) division as it looks to strengthen its capabilities across artist development, management, live touring, brand partnerships and expanded rights.

The company said the expanded division will work across artist management, A&R, live experiences, sync, licensing and brand collaborations, with the aim of supporting artists beyond recorded music and helping them develop broader commercial opportunities in India and international markets.

ASER will continue to work alongside Warner Chappell Music India on publishing, sync and creative collaborations, allowing artists to monetise both their recordings and compositions through licensing and other rights opportunities.

Warner Music India highlighted several recent projects delivered through the division, including brand campaigns with Jameson featuring King and Sanjith Hegde, a collaboration between Darshan Raval and Dubai Tourism, and Darshan Raval’s endorsement partnership with Sony India. The company also cited artist integrations during the Women’s Premier League, featuring performances by Ayushmann Khurrana, Shruti Haasan, Jonita Gandhi and Hanumankind.

The label also pointed to the global campaign for The Sting Within Me, a collaboration between Sting Energy and Alan Walker inspired by Formula 1. The track was launched during the Barcelona Grand Prix and, according to Warner Music India, crossed one million streams on Spotify within its first week of release.

Jay Mehta, Managing Director, Recorded Music and Publishing, India and SAARC at Warner Music India, said the expansion reflects the company’s strategy of supporting artists across multiple areas of their careers beyond recorded music.

“Artists are building brands, shaping culture, and creating value across multiple touchpoints. This expansion reflects our commitment to building a truly integrated ecosystem, one that supports artists to unlock new opportunities, add value to their careers, and build lasting cultural and commercial impact in India and beyond.”

Anisha Gaba, Associate Director and Head of ASER at Warner Music, said the division is focused on creating long-term opportunities through artist development, global collaborations, live experiences, sync placements and brand partnerships.

Warner Music India said the expansion comes as it continues to invest in services that support artists across recording, publishing, live entertainment and commercial partnerships.
