Warner Music India has signed singer-songwriter and composer Prateeksha Srivastava, with her new single Sajna Ve marking the first release under the partnership.
Prateeksha Srivastava first found an audience online through cover songs before gradually moving into original material, collaborations and live performances. Over the past few years, she has featured on tracks including Aankh alongside Sunidhi Chauhan and also appeared on Coke Studio Bharat, building visibility within India’s growing indie-pop space.
Written, composed and sung by Prateeksha Srivastava, “Sajna Ve” leans into melodic pop and themes of young romance. The music video, featuring actor Arjun Deswal, follows a young woman through the streets of Old Delhi as she pursues her romantic interest, reversing the dynamic often seen in mainstream Hindi pop videos.
Speaking about the release and her signing with Warner Music India, Prateeksha said:
