The Hello Group India (THG India), a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment India and global entertainment company The Hello Group, has signed acclaimed Indian singer Nikhita Gandhi to an exclusive worldwide management and bookings agreement.

Gandhi, whose catalogue spans Bollywood blockbusters and independent pop releases, currently counts around 12 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 3.5 billion combined streams. Her repertoire includes charting film tracks such as Naach Meri Rani (with Guru Randhawa), Tere Pyaar Mein (with Arijit Singh), and Qaafirana (composed by Amit Trivedi), as well as pop collaborations including O’ Sajna with Badshah. In addition to her playback work, Gandhi has released solo material including Pyaar Mein Paagal and Maharani.

Her most recent release, Aavan Jaavan, a collaboration with Pritam and Arijit Singh for the upcoming War 2 film, has generated 47 million YouTube views in its first 10 days.

Under the THG India partnership, Gandhi will focus on developing a Hindi urban-pop sound that blends Afrobeat influences with South Asian instrumentation. She is already collaborating with THG’s network of local and international producers and writers, with a rebrand and debut collaboration EP slated for announcement in the coming weeks.

Taylor Jones, CEO of THG India, described Gandhi as “a rare talent whose artistry transcends genres and borders,” highlighting her dual strength as both a vocalist and songwriter-producer. “At THG India, we’re excited to champion her journey, driving a bespoke growth strategy backed by a dedicated, passionate team built on transparency, performance, and the relentless pursuit of world-class music and creativity.”

Gandhi said the move feels like “the perfect new home” for her career, offering both a 360° management outlook and creative collaboration. “I’m excited for this next chapter, to push my sound into new spaces, and to share the music we’ve been working on with the world.”

The signing expands THG India’s roster of South Asian artists and aligns with its focus on developing crossover opportunities for talent in global markets.
