The sixth edition of All About Music returns—driving industry growth and inspiring vital conversations across India’s music ecosystem.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, All About Music (AAM) — India’s largest B2B music conference — made a much-anticipated comeback in 2022 for its sixth edition, hosted in person at Taj Lands End, Mumbai from September 20th to 22nd. With YouTube Shorts as the primary partner, this iconic event brought together over 6,000 industry professionals, artists, executives, creators, and innovators under one roof.

Since its debut in 2017, AAM has grown to become the most influential music business conference in India, completing five sold-out editions and evolving into the go-to platform for music industry networking, learning, collaboration, and career growth.

This initiative continues to bridge the gap between the established and the emerging, offering real-time feedback, idea validation, and growth opportunities.

Empowering Independent Talent with Live Showcases

For the first time, AAM 2022 curated live performances by select independent artists, giving them the opportunity to perform for top record labels, showrunners, and A&Rs in the business — all in the same room. This direct exposure offers unmatched access and feedback loops for up-and-coming artists in India.

Championing Collaboration Across the Music Ecosystem

Ashish Jose, Business Head at Create and Collab, put it best:

“The purpose of AAM is to create space for conversations and interactions that amplify the voices of key stakeholders who are bright spots within the music industry. When we invest the time to listen, ask, share, and learn — we grow together.”

The conference continues to serve as a launchpad for music collaborations, innovations, and ideas that define the future of the Indian and global music landscape.
