Ticketing and event platform SkillBox has rolled out a new conversational search feature that allows users to discover events by describing what they are looking for in plain language, while also introducing a query-based analytics tool for event organisers.

The update removes the need to browse through event listings or apply multiple filters. Users can search for events by asking for specific artists, genres, cities or experiences and receive recommendations based on those prompts.
For promoters, the platform now offers a conversational interface for accessing event data. Organisers can ask questions about ticket sales, revenue trends and audience behaviour, receiving instant responses instead of navigating through analytics dashboards.
According to SkillBox, the aim is to simplify both event discovery and event management by making information easier to access.
“At SkillBox, we’ve always believed technology should simplify access, whether that’s helping fans discover experiences more naturally or enabling promoters to make better decisions without added complexity,” said Anmol Kukreja, Co-Founder and CEO of SkillBox. “Instead of asking people to adapt to platforms, we’re working towards platforms that adapt to how people think and behave.”
The feature is currently available through SkillBox’s integration with Claude, with support for ChatGPT and other platforms expected to follow.
