Key features include RA event listings on SoundCloud profiles, an embeddable SoundCloud widget on all RA event pages, and RA-curated playlists on SoundCloud that highlight a diverse range of electronic music. Additional integrations are planned for later this year.

“The integration of RA’s events API with SoundCloud‘s platform opens up exciting possibilities for the electronic music community,” said Simon Kempner, RA’s Chief Operating Officer. “By seamlessly connecting event information across platforms, we’re empowering promoters, club owners, artists, DJs, labels, and fans through increased visibility and engagement.”

Devi Mahadevia, Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth at SoundCloud, echoed this sentiment. “By integrating RA’s events onto our platform, we’re further enriching the music discovery journey for our listening community,” she said.

This initial rollout is just the beginning. Both companies have indicated that additional integrations are planned for later this year, suggesting an even deeper level of synergy to come. This partnership marks a significant step towards creating a more connected and accessible ecosystem for electronic music, making it easier than ever for fans to discover new sounds and experiences, and for artists to reach their audience both online and offline.

By seamlessly integrating event information with music discovery, both platforms are not only enriching the user experience but also empowering artists, promoters, and fans alike. As additional integrations are rolled out, we can anticipate an even more unified and accessible landscape for electronic music, fostering greater visibility, engagement, and a more vibrant community for years to come.
