Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has concluded the Australia and New Zealand leg of her The Unstoppable Tour, performing four sold-out shows across Auckland, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne this month.
The tour began in Auckland on June 20 before heading to Perth on June 25, Sydney on June 27 and concluding in Melbourne on June 28. According to the organisers, more than 23,000 fans attended the four-city run.
One of the recurring moments throughout the tour saw Shreya Ghoshal make her entrance through the audience before taking the stage, a feature that debuted in Auckland and was repeated at each subsequent show.
Across the four concerts, Shreya Ghoshal performed a catalogue spanning more than two decades, bringing together songs from multiple Indian languages alongside some of her best-known film tracks. The shows drew audiences from across the Indian diaspora as well as local music fans.
The tour also featured local collaborations in each city. In Sydney, a dancer joined Ghoshal on stage during a performance of Nagada Sang Dhol, while Melbourne featured a guest appearance by a female dhol player.
Reflecting on the tour, Ghoshal said:

That’s something I look forward to with every new continent we visit, we always discover something new and add an extra layer to the experience. One of the best parts was the surprises in every city. There was always someone special joining us on stage, and it was never what we expected. From talented local performers to amazing audience members becoming part of the show, every city brought something unique. In Sydney, we had a fabulous dancer perform during Nagada Sang Dhol, and in Melbourne, we were joined by an incredible female dhol player. There was a lot of female power joining us. Those moments made the performances even more magical. I truly feel that my tribe is growing with every show. It fills me with immense gratitude and makes me feel so blessed to be on this beautiful journey. And this is only the beginning of the tour, because we are, truly, unstoppable.”
The Australia and New Zealand dates form part of Ghoshal’s wider The Unstoppable Tour, which continues to take the singer to audiences outside India. The concerts also reflect the sustained demand for large-scale live performances by Indian artists across international markets, particularly among diaspora audiences.
