ForeVision Digital brings distribution, royalties and analytics into one dashboard

ForeVision Digital launches an integrated dashboard for distribution, royalty tracking, and analytics.
ForeVision Digital streamlines music operations with a new dashboard combining distribution, royalties, and analytics in one place.

ForeVision Digital has introduced a new digital dashboard that brings music distribution, royalty management, analytics and catalogue administration into a single platform for artists, labels and rights holders. The company says the ecosystem has been designed to simplify release management by reducing the need to switch between multiple tools and services.

Operating as a B2B SaaS platform, the dashboard covers the full release lifecycle, from uploading music and submitting metadata to tracking distribution, monitoring royalties and managing catalogues after release. The platform also serves as ForeVision Digital’s internal operating system, allowing its teams to review releases, verify metadata, process royalties and manage support requests from the same interface.

Founded by Pulak Chakraborty in 2021, ForeVision Digital was created to address challenges faced by independent artists navigating digital distribution.

“During my teenage years, I was an independent artist. Back then, there wasn’t an Indian platform that truly supported emerging artists like us. That’s why ForeVision Digital was founded, to create a better platform for everyone. Today, we are proud to have served the artist community for over five and a half years.”

The release workflow begins with artists or labels uploading audio files, artwork and metadata before submissions enter an internal review process. ForeVision Digital’s content team checks releases for metadata accuracy, copyright compliance and platform-specific requirements before distributing them to digital service providers (DSPs). Once live, users can continue managing their catalogue, edit metadata or submit takedown requests through the same dashboard.

Explaining the review process, Supriya Acharjee, Head of Content Operations at ForeVision Digital, said:

“One of the most common challenges independent artists face is understanding the technical requirements behind digital distribution. Through our review process and content operations, we aim to make those requirements easier to understand, helping artists prepare releases that meet platform guidelines before they reach listeners.”

The platform is organised into four core modules: Release Management, Royalty Management, Analytics and a Support Centre. Users can monitor release status across DSPs, access UPC and ISRC information, view platform-wise and release-wise royalty reports, analyse streaming performance by country and platform, and manage support requests without leaving the dashboard. Split royalty functionality is also built into the system, allowing collaborators to receive their respective shares of revenue.

Beyond distribution, the dashboard includes tools for editorial playlist pitching, YouTube Content ID management, Official Artist Channel requests, Smart Links, Electronic Press Kit (EPK) creation, caller ring back tone (CRBT) distribution and artist profile management. While the company pitches eligible releases to editorial teams at streaming services, it notes that playlist placements remain entirely at the discretion of each DSP.

Prantik Dey, Senior Designer, Social Media Manager and A&R at ForeVision Digital, said the platform has been shaped by the company’s experience working directly with independent artists.

“I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside ForeVision Digital since its early days while continuing to release music with my own independent collective. Experiencing the distribution process from both the artist’s and the company’s perspective has reinforced the importance of building tools that are practical, transparent, and easy to use. Working across design, sales, Content Operations, Social Media, and A&R has provided valuable insight into the needs of independent artists. The ecosystem reflects that understanding by bringing together the services artists rely on throughout the release lifecycle into a single platform.”

As India’s independent music sector continues to grow, companies are increasingly looking beyond basic distribution by offering integrated services that combine rights management, analytics, marketing and artist support. ForeVision Digital says its latest platform is intended to bring these functions together in one ecosystem while streamlining operations for both creators and music businesses.
