Guru Randhawa signs with CAA for international representation

Guru Randhawa, known as a singer, songwriter, composer, and actor, has recently joined hands with the international entertainment and sports agency, Creative Artists Agency for representation.

Starting his career with independent singles, Randhawa has become a renowned figure in the music industry, known for his Punjabi and Bollywood hits. He made his music debut in 2012 with the single “Same Girl” and later signed with the prominent Indian label T-Series. One of his tracks, “Patola,” released under T-Series, has garnered over 493 million views on YouTube. Several of his music videos, including “Lahore” and “High Rated Gabru,” have crossed the one billion views mark on YouTube. In 2018, “Lahore” was honoured as Track of the Year, and Randhawa received the Best Male Act award at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards.

In 2019, he ventured into international collaborations, teaming up with Pitbull for the track “Slowly Slowly,” which gained 38 million views on YouTube within 24 hours and currently boasts 265 million views. This collaboration earned him the Best Punjabi Vocalist award at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards in 2019.

Randhawa’s most recent single, “You Talking To Me,” was released just a month ago and has already accumulated 30 million views. Besides his singing career, he has also composed music for several Indian films, earning recognition as the Best Music Director for his work on “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” (2018) at the International Indian Film Academy Awards and the Mirchi Music Awards.

Adding to his versatility, Randhawa is set to make his acting debut in the Bollywood comedy “Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.” Currently, he is focused on creating English-language music in Los Angeles.

Guru Randhawa holds a massive following on social media platforms, with 34 million followers on Instagram, 7.6 million on TikTok, 6.8 million on Facebook, and 1.1 million on X. His representation in India remains under Exceed Entertainment based in Mumbai.
