Tips Music posts 15% revenue growth in H1 FY26 with streaming and catalogue driving its business momentum.

TIPS Music Ltd. has reported steady growth for the first half of FY26, recording a 15% year-on-year (YoY) rise in revenue from operations and an 8% YoY increase in profit after tax (PAT).

For the quarter ending September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), TIPS reported:

  • Revenue from operations: ₹89.2 crore (up 11% YoY)
  • Operating EBITDA: ₹67.8 crore (up 14% YoY)
  • PAT: ₹53.2 crore (up 10% YoY)
  • EBITDA margin: 76%, up from 73.8% in Q2 FY25

The company released 133 songs during the quarter, including 76 film and 57 non-film tracks, reflecting a balanced focus across Bollywood and regional markets. Among these, the Telugu track “Vibe Undi” from the film Mirai emerged as a key hit, crossing 69 million YouTube views, while “Raaj Karega Mallik” from Maalik reached 25 million views.

TIPS’ YouTube subscriber base expanded to 134 million, underscoring its strong digital footprint. Legacy catalogue tracks continued to perform well on Meta platforms — “Tere Aane Se” (Run) crossed 1.5 billion views“Saajan Saajan”(Dil Ka Rishta) reached 850 million, and “Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaye” (Taal) achieved 700 million views during the quarter.

The company also declared a second interim dividend of ₹4 per share for FY26, amounting to ₹51.13 crore, bringing the total payout for the year to ₹102.26 crore.

Commenting on the results, Kumar Taurani, Chairman and Managing Director, TIPS Music Ltd., said:

“Despite a challenging industry environment, our performance reflects consistent growth and strong catalogue monetisation. We anticipate continued momentum supported by paid subscriber growth, ad revenue sharing from short-form content platforms, and expansion in the public performance segment.”

TIPS’ results highlight the continuing strength of catalogue-driven revenue and digital monetisation within India’s music industry. With paid streaming subscriptions and social platform licensing gaining traction, mid-sized labels like TIPS are consolidating their market presence through strategic content diversification and efficient rights management.
