Divo Music, part of Warner Music India, has launched Loopd, a new label dedicated to independent voices from across the country. Positioned as a platform for original sounds and stories, the label aims to provide resources and visibility to emerging musicians while connecting them to wider audiences.
Loopd comes at a time when non-film music is gaining ground in India, driven by streaming growth and changing listener habits. Backed by Warner Music Group’s global network, the label seeks to give artists access to international markets without losing their independent identity.

Speaking about the launch, Shahir Muneer, Founder & Director of Divo, said:
“Loopd is built with artists at its heart. We want to empower independent musicians with the right resources, visibility, and reach, while letting them stay true to their creativity. This is about building a movement, not just a label.”
Jay Mehta, Managing Director, Warner Music India & SAARC, added:
“Loopd strengthens our commitment to India’s diverse music culture. Independent and regional voices are shaping the future, and with this label we are creating a platform that celebrates originality while connecting artists to global audiences.”
Loopd has already debuted with “Nizhal” by Adhithya RK, unveiled by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Upcoming releases include “Parota and Beef” (Tuhin), “Prema” (Junaid Kumar), “Hiraaya” (Samuel Paul), and “Peraasaye” (Pradeep Kumar).
