Dubai-based SOCO Du brings distribution services to India

Dubai-based distribution company SOCO Du has entered the Indian market, with local operations set to begin soon. The company will focus on digital distribution and monetisation support, aiming to give artists and labels access to global streaming platforms while retaining control over their releases. Its offering centres on simplifying the release process and improving revenue tracking and optimisation.

“India is one of the fastest-growing music markets in the world, and we see strong potential in working with artists and labels here,” a company spokesperson said. “Our focus is on building a system that is transparent and easy to use, allowing creators to focus on their music while we manage distribution and revenues.”

Alongside distribution, SOCO Du plans to build local partnerships to support marketing, collaborations and catalogue growth. The company says its partner network will be used to help artists expand reach across both domestic and international audiences.

The expansion comes at a time when India’s independent ecosystem is becoming more structured, with a growing number of distributors, label services firms and platforms competing to sign and scale artists. For newer entrants, differentiation is likely to depend on pricing, service depth and the ability to deliver measurable growth beyond basic distribution.

SOCO Du positions itself as a technology-led distribution platform, offering catalogue delivery, revenue management and additional support services through its global partner network.
