Circoloco confirms artist lineup for India debut in Mumbai

Circoloco India debut at Jio World Garden Mumbai featuring Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy and Mau P live in 2026.
Circoloco brings its iconic Ibiza party to Mumbai for the first time in 2026.

Global underground music institution Circoloco will make its India debut on April 19, 2026, at Jio World Garden, Mumbai. The event is presented by Kingfisher Ultra and produced by Sound Simplify in collaboration with Xora and District.

The Mumbai showcase marks the first official appearance of Circoloco in India, bringing one of the world’s most established underground brands to the country’s growing electronic music market.

Founded in 1999 at DC-10 Ibiza by Antonio Carbonaro, Circoloco began as a weekly party in Ibiza before developing into a globally recognised platform for underground music and culture. Over the past two decades, it has built a reputation for consistent programming, minimal branding, and a strong emphasis on long-term artist relationships.

From Ibiza to London, Miami, New York, Paris, Milan, Tulum, and Tokyo, Circoloco’s events have remained closely tied to club culture and community, rather than large-scale festival formats. Its influence extends beyond nightlife, shaping trends in electronic music, fashion, and contemporary youth culture.

The brand’s entry into Mumbai reflects the increasing scale and sophistication of India’s electronic music audience. It also signals growing confidence among international promoters and artists in the country’s ability to host high-profile underground events.

International Lineup for Mumbai Debut

The India debut will feature a lineup of leading figures from the global house and techno circuit:

  • Marco Carola
  • Michael Bibi
  • Chris Stussy
  • Mau P
  • Jamback

The lineup reflects Circoloco’s long-standing focus on artists with sustained global relevance, rather than short-term commercial appeal. Each performer represents a distinct strand of contemporary underground music, aligned with the brand’s curatorial approach.

Partnerships and Production

The collaboration between Kingfisher Ultra, Sound Simplify, Xora, and District brings together international brand backing with local production expertise. The promoters have been active in developing large-scale electronic and experiential events in India, and their involvement is expected to support both operational scale and audience development.

For Circoloco, which has historically been selective about partnerships, the Mumbai edition reflects a carefully structured entry into the Indian market, prioritising consistency with its global standards.

Expanding India’s Role in the Global Circuit

Circoloco’s India debut comes at a time when the country is increasingly being included in international touring routes for electronic artists. While India has hosted major EDM and festival brands for over a decade, large-format underground showcases have remained relatively limited.

The Mumbai event represents a step towards bridging that gap, positioning India alongside established global clubbing destinations. It also points to a broader shift in audience preferences, with growing demand for genre-specific, curator-led formats.

As Circoloco prepares to stage its first event in the country, the April 2026 showcase is expected to serve as a reference point for future international underground collaborations in India.
