BookMyShow Live has cancelled the 2026 edition of its Bengaluru-based festival Bandland, after headliner Muse pulled out of the scheduled February 14–15 dates due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
In a statement posted to social media, the organisers said the decision was taken with the event less than a month away, adding that they did not want to proceed if they couldn’t deliver the “uncompromised” live experience the festival is designed around.
“Muse, one of our headliners, has had to cancel their upcoming tour due to unforeseen circumstances, which includes their performance at Bandland. We completely respect their decision and send them love,” the post read. As of publication, Muse has not issued a separate public statement about the cancellation.
Bandland’s third edition had originally been expected in the final quarter of 2025, before being reannounced for February 2026. The bill was set to include Muse and Train at the top, with Australian progressive rock act Karnivool and Indian hardcore band Scribe among the additional names.
BookMyShow Live said all ticket-holders will be eligible for full refunds, to be processed within 8–10 working days to the original mode of payment.
