Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd. has partnered with Delhi-based non-profit Manzil Mystics to launch a CSR programme focused on music education and livelihood creation, aimed at students and young musicians from underserved communities.
The initiative will deliver structured training using electronic keyboards, alongside curriculum-led modules designed to build practical skills. It is being rolled out across community spaces and government schools, with a focus on improving access to music education while introducing participants to potential pathways within the wider music and media ecosystem.
While brands in the sector have intermittently backed music education, programmes that link training to employability remain relatively limited. This collaboration leans into that gap, combining access to instruments with a framework that looks beyond early-stage learning.
According to Casio India’s Managing Director Takuto Kimura, the company sees music as a tool for both creative development and long-term opportunity. The partnership with Manzil Mystics, he said, is intended to support young learners in building skills that can translate into sustainable careers.
As part of the rollout, Casio India has provided electronic keyboards to participating students, enabling them to begin training immediately. The programme will also involve educators and practitioners working with participants on performance and applied learning.
The broader focus is on developing vocational skills within music, with an emphasis on roles across teaching, performance and adjacent creative industries. In doing so, the initiative positions music not only as an educational input, but as a potential entry point into India’s expanding media and entertainment workforce.
