From performing on stage to pitching music, startups and creative ideas to industry leaders, Music X and Access X are two initiatives at this year’s All About Music designed to help artists, entrepreneurs and music professionals take the next step in their careers.
While Music X gives emerging artists the opportunity to perform as part of the official All About Music showcase, Access X connects participants with labels, investors, managers, brands, filmmakers and employers through seven dedicated pitching tracks.
Music X: A chance to perform at All About Music
Music X is a live showcase platform for emerging artists looking to perform in front of an audience that includes music industry executives, professionals and delegates attending All About Music.
Artists are required to submit a two to two-and-a-half-minute audio-visual recording of a live performance along with an artist press kit. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to perform as part of the official Music X showcase at the conference, providing exposure to potential collaborators, bookers and other industry stakeholders.
The programme aims to spotlight new talent while creating opportunities for live bookings, artist discovery and long-term career development.
Access X: Pitch directly to industry decision-makers
Access X brings together seven application-based opportunities that allow participants to present their work directly to professionals across different areas of the music business.
The programme includes opportunities to:
- Pitch to Investors with music-tech startups, creator economy ventures, AI solutions and platforms.
- Pitch to A&R and Music Supervisors to showcase original music for artist discovery, sync opportunities and placements.
- Pitch to Managers & Promoters to explore artist representation, touring and career development.
- Pitch Your Music-led IP to Brands & Venues for sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
- Pitch Your Music to Labels through brief-based submissions for release and development opportunities.
- Pitch Your Music to Filmmakers & Production Houses for films, series and documentaries.
- Apply for Jobs and Internships with employers from across the music ecosystem.
Selected applicants will present their work to a jury comprising executives from across music, film, live entertainment, brands and investment. The line-up includes Mohit Suri and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for filmmaker pitches; Dhruv Patel(Universal Music India), Garishma Gandhi (0075 Pentertainment), Kshitij Gupta (Nav Records) and Navaneeth Krishnan (Tuned Music Group) for label submissions; Sherish Shaikh (OddHouse Management) and Sai Vivek Machetti (BTOS Talent Management) for management pitches; Jay Patel (Diageo) for brand partnerships; venue representatives including Bhakti Athavale (NCPA), Vivek Dudani (antiSOCIAL) and Joy Singh (Raasta); and Arjun Vaidya, Co-founder of V3 Ventures, for investor pitches.
Applications for all Access X and Music X categories close on July 31.
