Zee TV releases title track for its upcoming drama featuring Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey in lead roles.

Ahead of the premiere of its new fiction series Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Zee TV has released the title track and music video for the show, offering the first musical glimpse into a love story that seeks to challenge conventions around age, emotion, and companionship.

The show stars Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey in lead roles—Kelkar as Aryavardhan, a composed, mature protagonist, and Chouksey as Anu, a younger, free-spirited woman navigating emotional complexity. The pairing itself has drawn early attention for its unconventional dynamic, which the title track now explores through a cinematic lens.

Sung by Javed Ali and Palak Muchhal, the track captures the emotional arc of the central relationship with a melody that blends contemporary composition with timeless romanticism. The music video, directed by Siddharth and choreographed by Devang, leans into a dreamlike visual language, enhancing the emotional tone of the series.

Notably, this marks Sharad Kelkar’s first appearance in a music video for television in his career. “It was an experience that felt both new and nostalgic,” he said, describing the set and direction as “magical” and “cinematically ambitious, especially for television.” Chouksey, who is making her music video debut, called the experience “visually immersive” and “emotionally lasting,” noting the attention to detail in the video’s production design and lighting.

For both actors, the song offered more than just a promotional asset—it provided a tonal entry point into their characters’ interior worlds. “This track isn’t just a love song—it’s a narrative moment that says a lot without dialogue,” Kelkar noted.

Vocalist Palak Muchhal echoed this sentiment, calling the recording “deeply personal.” “It felt as though the composition was written for my voice,” she said, adding that her previous collaborations with Javed Ali have always resonated with audiences. Ali, for his part, described the song as “emotionally immediate” and said it reminded him of earlier title tracks from Indian television, both in its melodic simplicity and lyrical clarity.

While music videos are common in digital and film projects, this level of musical investment remains relatively rare for Indian television fiction. With this track, Zee TV appears to be setting the stage for a series that blends emotional storytelling with cinematic scale—both musically and visually.

Tumm Se Tumm Tak is set to premiere on Zee TV soon.
