Virgin Music India partners with Indian artist Papon for distribution

Virgin Music Group, a global distributor supporting independent artists and labels, has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Indian singer-songwriter and composer Papon.

This partnership is part of Virgin Music Group’s efforts to expand its presence in India and make Papon’s music accessible to a wider audience through its international distribution network.

The collaboration begins with the release of Papon’s new single, “Room Khali Hai.” The track follows his earlier release, “Ab Rukna Mat,” and continues his exploration of contemporary sounds and introspective themes. The single is available here: Room Khali Hai.

This release is part of Papon’s indie album, Pura Asmaan, developed in collaboration with Virgin Music Group. “Room Khali Hai” combines acoustic instrumentation with lyrics by Manoj Chaudhry, exploring themes such as loneliness and self-reflection. The track reflects a shift in Papon’s artistic approach, offering a more personal perspective while maintaining his characteristic style.
