The SWAMP Academy launches online music production course

The SWAMP Academy, founded by music producer Abhijit Vaghani, has launched a six-month online music production course, expanding its programmes to students across India.

According to the academy, the online course was introduced following interest from prospective students who were unable to attend classes at its physical campus.

The curriculum covers music production across multiple genres, alongside modules on the music business, copyright, distribution and portfolio development. Students will also have the opportunity to release original music as part of the programme.

Commenting on the launch, Abhijit Vaghani said, “The response we’ve received from students all over the country made it clear that talent and passion for music production aren’t limited to a few cities. Taking this course online allows us to bring the same quality of training to anyone, anywhere, and the early bird offer is our way of making that first step more accessible.”

The academy’s advisory panel includes Pritam Chakraborty, Shekhar Ravjiani, Salim Merchant, Sulaiman Merchant, Harshdeep Kaur, Ash King, Amaal Malik, Armaan Malik, Meghdeep Bose, Vijay Dayal, Aftab Khan, Shomu Seal, Rochak Kohli, Gaurav Vaswani, Shannon Donald and Esani Dey, among others.

The SWAMP Academy said the course is priced at ₹1,25,000, with an introductory fee of ₹99,000 for enrolments completed before 31 July.

Alongside the new programme, the academy also offers online courses in vocal production and digital mixing and mastering. Enrolments for the online music production course are now open.
