Gaana has appointed Shabnam Majumdar as Director of Partnerships and Alliances.
In her new role, Shabnam Majumdar will lead the platform’s revenue partnerships, overseeing strategic alliances and commercial collaborations aimed at expanding Gaana’s partner ecosystem and driving business growth.
She brings more than 20 years of experience across the telecom, BFSI, and media and entertainment sectors. Her background includes B2B partnerships, enterprise sales, go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, market expansion, and global account management.
Before joining Gaana, Shabnam Majumdar served as Associate Director – Strategic Partnerships, Digital at ZEE5, where she focused on subscription growth through partnerships with telecom operators, internet service providers, fintech companies, and e-commerce platforms. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Vodafone India, G4S, 92.7 Big FM, HSBC, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Max Life Insurance.
Across these organisations, she has led business development and partnership initiatives spanning enterprise telecom solutions, OTT subscription partnerships, advertising sales, sports sponsorships, and market expansion across India and other emerging markets.
Outside of her professional work, Shabnam Majumdar is the founder of The Philanthropist & The Happy Dog, an animal rescue trust that works to support and care for stray animals.
