Rolling Loud staged its first-ever Indian edition in Mumbai across November 22–23 at Loud Park, Navi Mumbai, drawing an estimated 65,000 attendees over two days. The US-born hip-hop festival, known for its large-scale global footprint, marked its arrival with a mix of international headliners and prominent Indian acts. Organisers confirmed Rolling Loud India 2026 before the conclusion of this year’s event.
The inaugural lineup featured international artists making their India debut including Central Cee, Swae Lee, Don Toliver, NAV and Wiz Khalifa, alongside Indian names such as DIVINE, Hanumankind, Karan Aujla and Gurinder Gill. The programming underscored the growing convergence of Indian hip-hop and global mainstream rap, positioning the festival as a significant moment for the country’s live music ecosystem.
Day 1: Global debuts and crowd engagement
Day 1 saw performances from Swae Lee and Hanumankind set the tone early, with both artists leaning into high-energy sets that played to a receptive audience. Wiz Khalifa followed with a catalogue-driven performance featuring tracks such as See You Again, Roll Up and Young, Wild & Free, demonstrating the depth of his fan base in India.

Central Cee’s performance marked one of the most closely watched moments of the day. His set included Doja, Sprinter and Band4Band, with strong crowd interaction throughout, reflecting his growing presence in the Indian market.
Day 2: Indian dominance and cross-border collaborations
The second day placed greater emphasis on Indian artists. DIVINE premiered Walking on Water live, followed by NAV whose set drew one of the loudest responses of the weekend. Gurinder Gill’s appearance alongside him intensified the crowd reaction, particularly during Lemonade.
Don Toliver delivered a polished set that balanced his melodic style with large-scale production. The evening concluded with Karan Aujla, who became the first Indian artist to headline a Rolling Loud festival globally. His performance included the debut of the Daytona remix with NAV, marking one of the event’s most discussed collaborative moments.
A milestone for India’s live hip-hop circuit
Rolling Loud India’s debut highlights the increasing commercial and cultural relevance of hip-hop within the country’s live entertainment sector. The festival was also livestreamed via JioHotstar, expanding its digital reach beyond on-ground attendees.
Rather than serving as a one-off spectacle, the event signals a broader shift in how international festival brands view India as a viable, large-scale hip-hop market. With the 2026 edition already announced, Rolling Loud’s entry into India appears positioned as a long-term investment rather than an exploratory outing.
