Rishab Rikhiram Sharma announces 10-city India run for ‘Sitar For Mental Health’ Asia Tour 2026

Neo-classical musician and sitar artist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma has announced a 10-city India tour as part of the Asia leg of his ongoing Sitar For Mental Health Tour 2026. The India run will travel to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata and New Delhi between March and April 2026.

The tour is presented by Kotak Mahindra Bank – Solitaire, with tickets to be sold exclusively via the District app. It is promoted and produced by Team Innovation and District by Zomato.

Positioned at the intersection of classical performance and wellbeing-led programming, Sharma’s Sitar For Mental Health has built a following globally across the US, Canada, Europe and the UK, framing live concerts as immersive listening experiences that also spotlight conversations around mental health. The India leg also marks Sharma’s return to touring the country after a previously scheduled run was postponed.

Sharma is the youngest and last disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar, and has been recognised for bringing a contemporary sensibility to Indian classical frameworks. His live sets blend raga-based structures with cross-genre textures and improvisation, presented as multi-sensory, meditative performances.

Across the India dates, audiences can expect a set featuring newer material alongside fan favourites including ‘Shiv Kailash’, ‘Chanakya’, ‘Tandavam’, ‘The Burning Ghat’, ‘Varaha Roopam’ and ‘Shankara’.

Sharma said, “Music and its power to heal is truly a blessing… As we step into a brand new year, I’m filled with excitement to finally return home and honour the many heartfelt requests from my Indian fans. This homecoming will be grand, immersive, and an experience of a lifetime, celebrating the healing power of the sitar while continuing to raise awareness for mental health.”

Mohit Bijlani, Founder, Team Innovation, added, “Rishab Rikhiram Sharma’s work represents a rare intersection of classical excellence and contemporary relevance… we are proud to yet again bring this powerful experience to audiences across India as part of the Asia Tour 2026.”

Rahul Ganjoo, CEO, District by Zomato, said, “Rishab Rikhiram Sharma’s Sitar For Mental Health has become one of the most distinctive touring IPs globally… This tour exemplifies exactly the kind of movement-driven experience we exist to amplify.”

Internationally, Sharma is also set to make his Singapore debut at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, followed by his first performance in Dubai at Coca-Cola Arena, as the Asia leg continues.
