OML (Only Much Louder) Hiring Social & Editorial IP Manager in Mumbai
Job Overview
OML is looking for a creative and culturally connected Social & Editorial IP Manager to lead editorial strategy, digital storytelling, and content innovation across its multiple business verticals. This role is ideal for an experienced content strategist, editor, or storyteller with a passion for internet culture, music, entertainment, creator ecosystems, and social media.
You will define editorial voice, create compelling content across platforms, manage editorial calendars, develop social-first intellectual properties (IPs), and collaborate with creators, marketing, PR, and design teams to build engaging audience experiences.
About OML
Only Much Louder Entertainment is a market-leading, full-service creative and entertainment business network that has instigated pop culture for over two decades by creating iconic moments across television, digital content, fan experiences, branded entertainment, and in the artist-creator community. Celebrated for creating India’s first multi-genre music festival, the NH7 Weekender, Only Much Louder has built India’s independent music and comedy scene from the ground up. We won the first-ever Branded Content and Entertainment Cannes Lion for ‘Dewarists’ and have been the first homegrown content business to have a strong footprint in over 22 countries.
Our businesses include:
● Move Over: OML’s creative agency on a mission to bury the boring. Turning ads into entertainment people actually want to watch, share, and talk about. We help brands act like creators and build fandoms, not just followings.
● Hypothesis: One of India’s fastest growing creator-first & influencer marketing agencies, specializing in data-driven solutions to connect brands with the right audiences
● OML Talent: OML’s legacy business representing over 90+ of the most influential creators, comedians, writers, and storytellers shaping India’s entertainment landscape.
● OML Studios: India’s premier production house developing original IPs for leading OTT platforms. Also helps brands conceptualise and produce original IPs, manage syndication and licensing.
● EighteenSixtyTwo: Bacardi’s offsite content and advertising agency, with campaigns in 20+ countries, delivering top-tier creative and content marketing solutions.
● OML Sports: A creative content studio crafting high-impact ads, social media campaigns, and sportainment content for leading teams and leagues. We bring sports stories to life with innovative formats and audience-first storytelling.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an Editorial Lead who can define and drive OML’s voice across the internet. This isn’t the most traditional editorial role — it’s about making OML sound like who we are: creative, curious, culturally fluent, and always a few beats ahead. From sharp copy on our social channels to long-form storytelling, thought-leadership pieces, and social-first content IPs — you’ll bring a creator mindset across our channels. You’ll work across OML’s businesses — Move Over, Hypothesis, OML Talent, and OML Studios — to build distinct voices for each. Editorial that helps drive each business’s objectives while feeding into the larger marketing vision for OML.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial Strategy & Voice
● Define and evolve each business’s editorial voice while staying unapologetically rooted in culture.
● Lead editorial planning across digital platforms: social media, newsletters, and both external and internal communications.
● Develop content calendars that balance brand storytelling, thought leadership, and community engagement.
● Translate business priorities into platform-appropriate content that feels natural and engaging.
Storytelling & Execution
● Conceptualize and write engaging digital stories, scripts, captions, blogs, and interviews that bring OML’s world to life.
● Collaborate with PR, creators, and video teams to turn brand moments into multi-format storytelling that’s written, visual, and video-led.
● Build digital-first editorial products — newsletters, recurring IPs, and content formats that drive conversation within the creative industry.
Culture & Trends
● Keep a pulse on what’s shaping youth, internet, and creator culture — and help OML join or lead those conversations organically.
● Proactively identify hooks and moments where OML’s work, artists, or campaigns can become part of the cultural narrative.
● Bring a creator mindset to the table — understanding trends not just as observers, but as participants.
Editorial Craft & Governance
● Edit and refine all output across OML for tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
● Work closely with the video and design teams to ensure visual and narrative cohesion across every piece of communication.
● Maintain publishing consistency and high editorial standards across all platforms.
What You’ll Bring
● 5–8 years of experience in editorial, content strategy, or storytelling roles — ideally within entertainment, music, pop culture, or digital media/publishers.
● Exceptional writing and editing skills — crisp, clever, and grounded in a strong understanding of internet culture.
● Deep curiosity about creators, brands, and the evolving intersections of culture, marketing, and entertainment.
● Ability to switch between multiple tones and styles — from bold and irreverent to sharp and strategic.
● Experience managing external contributors and mentoring interns.
● A bias for experimentation — you know when to break a format or invent a new one.
