Aoneha Tagore launches Collabor8 Agency after her tenure at Spotify India.

Aoneha Tagore, former Head of Editorial at Spotify India, has launched a new artist management and brand advisory firm, Collabor8.

Founded in late 2025, the agency is positioned as a response to how many artists in India continue to be managed around short-term release cycles, despite their growing role as cultural and community-facing figures. Collabor8’s model is built around longer-term planning and career development.

The company offers an integrated set of services covering music strategy, public relations, social media, content development, brand partnerships, monetisation and positioning. These are grouped under what the agency calls “Music Surround Services”, aimed at aligning creative output with broader career goals.

Tagore brings over two decades of experience across radio, television and digital platforms. Her previous roles include stints at WorldSpace Satellite Radio, Fever FM, Oye FM, Radio City, 9X Network, MTV and Vh1, as well as the launch of MTV Beats. Most recently, she led Spotify India’s editorial operations, overseeing playlist strategy and artist programming during a period of rapid platform growth.

At Collabor8, artist management is framed around long-term brand and audience development rather than campaign-led promotion. The agency says it works with artists at different career stages, developing customised strategies based on individual goals and market positioning.

Speaking about the launch, Tagore said many artists are still managed primarily around upcoming releases, despite operating across music, culture and community. She added that Collabor8 aims to help artists clarify how they want to be perceived and build sustained fan engagement.

The agency has begun working with a mix of emerging and established artists and plans to focus on career planning beyond conventional release cycles.
