Mumbai-based DJ AminJaz has signed with REPRESENT for exclusive management, following more than a decade of work across India’s club and electronic music circuit.
AminJaz began DJing at the age of 16 and started performing in 2015. Since then, he has played across clubs, events and festival stages around the country, developing a sound centred on groovy house and different shades of the genre.
His approach to DJing has been shaped by years of playing to varied audiences and venues, with an emphasis on rhythm, flow and reading the dance floor. Alongside his work as a DJ, AminJaz hosts Untriggered, a podcast that has developed a community beyond his work behind the decks.
The management deal comes as AminJaz looks to build on the next stage of his career. “I’ve been DJing on and off for the past 11 years, and I feel like now is the right time to take things to the next level. I’m really excited about everything we’re working on with the team at REPRESENT. There’s a lot in the pipeline, but I’ll keep some of that under wraps for now,” he says.
While details of the upcoming projects have not been announced, AminJaz says his focus remains on live experiences and the dance floor. “At the end of the day, it’s all about creating great experiences, throwing unforgettable parties and, most importantly, getting people on the dance floor.”
