Delhi hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut are set to continue their SMX World Tour with a run of dates across the UK, North America and Europe through September, extending what has become the biggest international touring campaign of their career.
Presented independently by DL91, the tour marks 10 years of Seedhe Maut and spans 23 shows across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America. The duo, comprising MC Calm and Encore ABJ, kicked off the tour with five shows across Australia and a performance in Singapore earlier this year.
The international leg will now take the group to major cities including London, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. According to the organisers, several dates, including shows in Chicago, Frankfurt, Melbourne, San Francisco and Toronto, sold out ahead of the tour’s launch.
The tour follows Seedhe Maut’s SMX: 10 Years of Seedhe Maut tour across India, which sold more than 60,000 tickets across 11 cities in 2025.
The duo also crossed one billion cumulative streams across platforms in 2025, adding another milestone to a decade-long run that has seen them emerge as one of the most influential acts in Indian hip-hop.
The upcoming shows will feature a career-spanning set covering material from across Seedhe Maut’s catalogue, tracing their journey from Delhi’s underground rap circuit to sold-out venues across multiple continents. The group is scheduled to perform at venues including Sony Hall in New York, KOKO in London and The Lodge Room in Los Angeles.
“This tour is bigger than just shows,” Seedhe Maut said in a statement. “It’s about carrying our language, our stories, and our people across borders. Ten years of brotherhood, struggle, and love and now we take it worldwide.”
The tour is being organised independently through DL91, the artist management and live entertainment company founded by Mo Joshi. The company says the tour represents one of the most extensive international touring runs undertaken by an Indian hip-hop act and has been mounted without the backing of a major global promoter.
“What Seedhe Maut is doing with the SMX World Tour is genuinely historic,” said Joshi. “This is about representing India globally on our own terms – independently, fearlessly, and at a world-class scale. It proves that Indian hip-hop is no longer emerging; it has arrived.”
With more than 180 songs released across streaming platforms, Seedhe Maut have built a following that extends well beyond India, particularly among South Asian diaspora audiences, international students and young listeners seeking a distinctly homegrown voice within contemporary hip-hop.
As Indian artists continue to expand their touring ambitions internationally, the SMX World Tour stands out as one of the most significant global live music plays by a homegrown hip-hop act to date.
