Zee Music Company signs singer-songwriter Noor Chahal
Zee Music Company has signed singer-songwriter and actor Noor Chahal, with plans to release her solo singles and collaborations across late 2026 and 2027. The association adds to the label’s original music roster as it expands its work with independent artists.
Chahal, who grew up in Punjab, first gained attention through acoustic covers on YouTube and Instagram. She has since worked across music and film, with credits in Punjabi films including Ikko Mikke and Bajre Da Sitta.
Under the association, Chahal will work on solo releases, collaborations and projects across genres. The label’s distribution network is expected to help take her music to a wider audience.
“Joining Zee Music Company marks an exciting new chapter in my musical journey,” Chahal said. She added that she looks forward to exploring new sounds, collaborating with other musicians and working with a team that understands her artistic vision.

Sujal Parekh, chief business officer at Zee Music Company, said the label wants to work with artists who have distinct voices and room to develop their own sound. He added that the company plans to experiment with new sounds and help Chahal reach listeners across India and beyond.
The signing reflects Zee Music Company’s continued interest in working with independent artists alongside its wider music catalogue. For Chahal, the association offers access to a label’s distribution reach and resources as she develops her next set of releases. The impact will depend on how the partnership translates into new music, collaborations and sustained audience growth.
