Founder, CEO & Chairman of The Hello Group (THG)
Biography & Career Highlights
Taylor Jones is the Founder, CEO & Chairman of The Hello Group (THG), a global entertainment-media holding company. Under his leadership, the organization has achieved a remarkable global footprint across music publishing, live touring, management, and talent development. He has played a pivotal role in the international rise of K-Pop, and THG’s publishing credits include major artists such as BTS, NCT 127, ITZY, TWICE, and IVE, alongside collaborations with The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Sigala, Charlie Wilson, and Boyz II Men. THG also manages a notable roster of Indian artists, including Jonita Gandhi, W.i.S.H, Nikhita Gandhi, Raja Kumari, Mohammad Faiz, and others.
Through his A&R and management work, he has amassed dozens of Billboard #1s and numerous gold and platinum certifications. Taylor also holds influential roles within the industry, including as an executive member of the Recording Academy and in advisory positions across music-tech and consumer product ventures. He has been recognized as “CEO of the Year – Entertainment & Multimedia” and named by Yahoo Finance among the Top 10 Entrepreneurs Under 30 to Watch (2021).
Early Career & Music Management Start
Taylor’s early career began as a singer at the age of 13, and by 18 he was touring with Disney Channel and performing to arena audiences across Central Europe with several local hits to his name. While touring as an artist, Taylor transitioned into artist management, A&R, and hands-on creative work — signing and managing artists who went on to sign with labels such as Sony Music and Republic Records, and who won notable awards including MTV EMAs.
Over time, he worked closely with songwriters, producers, and emerging talent, developing a strong foundation in global pop-music networks and branding strategy across the UK, Europe, and North America.
Transition to Entrepreneurship
In 2016, Taylor founded what would become The Hello Group, leveraging his creative leadership and international network to build a diversified entertainment enterprise. He moved THG’s headquarters to Los Angeles, assembled a global executive team — including industry veteran Phil Quartararo (former President & CEO of Virgin Records, Warner Bros, and EMI) — and expanded the management division (Hello Management) while diversifying into publishing (THG Publishing), live touring (Hello Live), TV/film (Hello Pictures), and other verticals.
Under his direction, THG has formed strategic partnerships including a music publishing venture with Sony Music Publishing (2023) focused on Asia-Pacific music pitching, and a joint venture with Sony Music India (2025) to empower Indian artists — following the success of THG’s earlier K-Pop initiatives. This evolution from A&R and artist management into large-scale entrepreneurship demonstrates Taylor’s ability to transform creative ecosystems into global business operations.
