Live entertainment and ticketing platform Skillbox has partnered with Viacom’s VH1 Supersonic to power ticketing tech for the festival, after parties and arcade live stage and takeover events. Through this partnership Skillbox will power end-to-end ticketing solutions spanning purchase of tickets along with box office and gate management.

Now, those wanting to attend Supersonic can buy tickets directly from the festival platforms for the first time as part of the white labelling solutions offered by SkillBox. Outside of the festival website, tickets will also be available on Skillbox’s website and app, exclusively. In another first for the festival, attendees will also be able to pre-fill money on their RFID bands online, significantly lowering wait time for refills on ground and avoiding network issues which typically face high footfall events.

Gaurav Mashruwala, Head – Viacom18 Live, Integrated Network Solutions, said, “Vh1 Supersonic is all about unparalleled consumer experiences & engagement, and a smooth end-to-end ticketing process is an indispensable part of it. Partnering with Skillbox will help us elevate the ticketing experience for all our fans.”

“We are thrilled to partner with VH1 Supersonic. The festival has an eight-year legacy of putting together one of the biggest music festivals in India with a loyal fan following. The festival’s website is the most accessed touch point for attendees in the lead up to the festival. Skillbox’s white label solution for our strategic partners helps shrink the gap between fans and the festival by directly making tickets accessible and leveraging the platform’s onground management expertise. Our aim is to create as seamless an experience as possible for attendees, lowering the time it takes them to get from the time they enter the festival gates to their favorite stage” said Anmol Kukreja, CEO of Skillbox.

Along with expanding their operations, Skillbox has also elevated its leadership team with Amarjeet Singha to President – IPs and Programming; and Roydon Bangera to Chief Business Officer. In his new role, Singha will be responsible for leading programming and live IP conceptualisation. Bangera will be responsible for business, brand associations and P&L management.

VH1 Supersonic 2023 will take place from February 22 to 26, 2023 at Mahalakshmi Lawns, Pune.
