Rolling Loud, the globally recognized hip-hop festival, is officially heading to India. The festival’s first-ever India edition will take place over two days in Mumbai, adding another major stop to its international footprint.
Set to feature both international stars and local hip-hop talent, the Mumbai event will host performances across two stages. In addition to live music, attendees can expect a showcase of hip-hop culture through curated food stalls, art installations, and immersive brand experiences. The India leg of the festival is being produced in collaboration with District by Zomato.
Launched in Miami in 2015 by Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud quickly grew from a regional event into one of the most influential platforms for hip-hop worldwide. The festival now spans key cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Lisbon, Rotterdam, and Bangkok, regularly featuring headline performances from artists like Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, A$AP Rocky, Future, and Playboi Carti. In a memorable moment last year, A$AP Rocky surprised fans at Rolling Loud Pattaya by bringing Indian rapper Hanumankind on stage for an unannounced set.
Over the years, Rolling Loud has evolved beyond its live shows, expanding into fashion, digital content, and merchandise, solidifying its place as a lifestyle brand within hip-hop culture.
Commenting on the India expansion, founders Zingler and Cherif shared, “India’s hip-hop movement has been growing rapidly, and Mumbai feels like the perfect city to bring Rolling Loud to next. We’re excited to connect Indian fans with international artists and create a truly global celebration.”
The festival dates, artist lineup, and additional details will be announced soon.
