Jung Kook’s ‘GOLDEN: The Moments’ exhibition makes its India debut in Mumbai

Jung Kook’s first solo era arrives in India in physical form with the debut of GOLDEN: The Moments, a global exhibition centred on the BTS member’s debut solo album. Opening in Mumbai this December, the exhibition offers Indian audiences a rare opportunity to engage with Jung Kook’s work beyond screens and streaming platforms, translating his music, performances, and personal journey into a spatial, immersive experience.

Presented in India through a partnership between BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of BookMyShow, and HYBE, the global entertainment company behind BTS, the exhibition runs from December 12, 2025 to January 11, 2026 at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai. Tickets are available exclusively on BookMyShow.

The India debut was marked by an exclusive preview that introduced visitors to a series of carefully structured rooms, each designed to explore different facets of Jung Kook’s artistic evolution during the GOLDEN era. The atmosphere at the preview was measured and reflective, allowing guests to move through the exhibition at their own pace.

The journey begins with GOLDEN: JOURNEY, which traces Jung Kook’s path from his debut with BTS to his emergence as a solo artist. The space foregrounds themes of discipline, growth, and long-term artistic development that underpin his global success.

This leads into GOLDEN: MOMENTS, which focuses on key milestones from the GOLDEN album cycle. As the first K-pop soloist to have over 13 tracks cross 100 million streams on Spotify, Jung Kook’s achievements are contextualised through trophies, archival photographs, and defining moments rather than statistics alone.

In GOLDEN: SHINE, visitors are introduced to the album’s three conceptual versions—Shine, Solid, and Substance—each representing a different dimension of the project. Through light, sound, and visual design, the space brings together remixed tracks, visualisers, and concept imagery. The central SHINE room features music videos, performance footage, and a display of some of Jung Kook’s most recognisable stage outfits.

The exhibition then transitions into GOLDEN: SOLID, which revisits Jung Kook’s evolution from group member to solo performer, offering insight into his artistic refinement and growing creative autonomy. This is followed by GOLDEN: SUBSTANCE, a more intimate section that explores his inspirations, daily life, and personal preferences away from the spotlight.

One of the more technically revealing moments appears at the STEM listening station, where individual audio elements from tracks such as Hate You, including vocals, drums, bass, and instrumentation, are isolated, allowing visitors to hear the layered construction of the song and Jung Kook’s vocal precision.

The exhibition also includes dedicated spaces for Standing Next to You, with the music video screened alongside the actual performance outfits worn during the album’s promotion. In THEATER: SHINE, large-format screenings of Seven3D, and Standing Next to You highlight the performances that defined the GOLDEN era globally. THEATER: SOLIDoffers behind-the-scenes footage, focusing on rehearsal processes, challenges, and creative breakthroughs.

The experience concludes in the SUBSTANCE ROOM, inspired by Jung Kook’s reflection that his “golden moments” are shared with ARMY during concerts. Visitors are invited to leave messages, positioning fans as an active part of his ongoing story.

Official GOLDEN: The Moments merchandise is available at the venue, including photo items, apparel, accessories, and collectibles tied to the exhibition.

Speaking at the preview, Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer – Live Events at BookMyShow, said the collaboration with HYBE reflects BookMyShow Live’s ambition to bring large-scale global entertainment experiences to India. He noted that the exhibition connects music, storytelling, and innovation, while acknowledging India’s growing and highly engaged K-pop audience.

HYBE, in a separate statement, described India as one of the world’s fastest-evolving music markets and positioned the exhibition as part of its broader effort to build long-term cultural connections following the establishment of HYBE India.

The India debut of GOLDEN: The Moments also aligns with BookMyShow Live’s wider strategy of expanding experience-led entertainment offerings, alongside festivals and pop culture showcases. More broadly, the exhibition signals India’s increasing presence within the global touring and exhibition circuits of contemporary pop culture.
