Job Overview

Startist Management is looking for an experienced Artist Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and career development of independent artists. This role requires someone who understands the realities of artist management, can handle multiple moving parts simultaneously, and has a strong network within the Indian music ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing artist relationships, coordinating business opportunities, handling contracts, organizing tours, and serving as a trusted advisor to artists while driving their professional growth.

What you’ll do

Day-to-day management for a roster of independent artists. Shows, deals, timelines, relationships, everything in between. You’ll be the person keeping things moving when nothing is, and keeping things together when everything is at once.

Coordinate with labels, venues, promoters, and brands. Draft and review contracts. Handle tour logistics. Be the point of contact your artists actually trust.

What we’re looking for

2+ years managing artists in the Indian music industry. You know the landscape, you have real contacts, and you’ve closed actual deals. You don’t need hand-holding and you don’t disappear when things get hard.
