Beatoven.ai, an AI-driven music tech startup, has secured INR 11 crore ($1.3 million) in a pre-Series A funding round. The round, led by existing investors Capital 2B, also saw participation from Entrepreneur First and new investors IvyCap Ventures, Upsparks Capital, Rukam Capital, and prominent angel investors.
The funding will be strategically allocated to support Beatoven.ai’s growth across various aspects. This includes enhancing user experience, improving music accuracy and quality, and introducing intuitive editing features. Additionally, the company plans to support independent musicians through its artist-friendly data sourcing program and assemble a specialized team for research and development in music creation.
Founder and CEO of Beatoven.ai, Mansoor Rahimat Khan, expressed confidence in the company’s potential for growth, citing its significant user base of 1 million globally. He emphasized the company’s aim to become a global leader in Gen-AI music technology.
Amit Behl, Partner at Capital 2B, praised Beatoven.ai’s organic user growth and its potential to lead the consumer Gen-AI market in India. Similarly, Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, commended the company’s innovative approach to music creation.
With a user base of over 1 million globally and a majority of revenue from international markets, Beatoven.ai has established itself as a significant player in generative music technology. The funding will support its goal of becoming a comprehensive music and sound effects creation tool for diverse content creators.
