Founder & CEO, Represent
Biography & Career Highlights
Aayushman Sinha is a dynamic Indian entrepreneur and music-executive, recognised by Forbes India as one of the “New Age Entrepreneurs”. He is best known as the Founder & CEO of REPRESENT, a 360° artist-management and entertainment company dedicated to building pop-culture in India. Under his leadership, REPRESENT has worked with standout artists, co-created digital culture IPs (with Instagram, Snapchat, Triller), and consulted global consumer brands like Coca-Cola on music strategy. Sinha’s ventures have been lauded by Entrepreneur India as among the “Music Startups Disrupting the Indian Market”.
Early Career & Music
Sinha’s journey in music and marketing began at just 18 years old while still in college, when he started as a marketing and ticketing agent for live music concerts in Mumbai — opening up a new demographic for live entertainment in the city. Over time, he scaled into artist-management, working across genres and establishing his first creative ventures. During this phase he sharpened his ability to spot talent, build live experiences and understand the intersection of culture, audience and music in the Indian market.
Transition to Entrepreneurship
Recognising a gap in the Indian market for truly globalised pop-culture infrastructure, Sinha moved from artist-management into full-scale entrepreneurship. He co-founded BlackCab, an integrated marketing agency servicing major D2C, media and entertainment brands, and RADAR, an AR/VR content-solutions agency. Simultaneously, he launched his micro-VC fund Patronus (and network DotIn) which invests in high-growth consumer and creator brands including Comet, House of X, Nirmalaya and Zippie. These moves illustrate his evolution from creative operator to culture-tech entrepreneur.
About Current Company
REPRESENT is a full-service entertainment company founded by Sinha that manages artists across all aspects of their careers (live, recordings, branding, digital content, global touring). It also consults brands on music strategy and develops proprietary IPs. One of its flagship projects includes the launch of Triller in India and working with major global acts on India-strategy. The company represents multi-genre talent and integrates marketing, digital, live and creator-economy services under one roof.
Impact & Vision
Sinha is committed to taking Indian pop culture global — shifting the paradigm from importing international acts to exporting Indian talent, sound and content. He believes the Indian audience is ready for more than just Bollywood, and sees immense potential in independent artists, creator-led brands and multi-genre production. His vision centres on building artists, creators, products and platforms that can stand on the world stage — authentically Indian, globally relevant. Through his ecosystem of businesses, Sinha is enabling a new cultural economy in India.
