Head of Talent, Level House India

Yama Seth is a dynamic artist manager and music industry professional known for shaping the careers of some of India’s most respected independent acts. Beginning her journey with Big Bad Wolf, a leading talent management agency with bases in New Delhi and Mumbai, she quickly established herself as a dependable force in live touring, creative strategy, and long-term artist development. Over the past decade, she has worked closely with celebrated artists such as Vir Das’ Alien Chutney, Indian Ocean, Parvaaz, Raman Negi, Dot., Blackstratblues, and JBABE. Her career reflects a consistent commitment to elevating India’s contemporary music landscape through artist-first management, cultural curation, and educational initiatives.

Early Career & Music

Yama’s career began in 2016 when she joined Big Bad Wolf as the Tour Manager for Vir Das’ comedy-rock outfit, Alien Chutney. Her early years in touring helped her develop expertise in logistics, production, and on-ground artist support. What initially started as a single act’s tour management soon expanded into a broader portfolio as she began working with multiple bands across the country. Yama Seth deep understanding of artist needs and the independent music ecosystem laid the foundation for her future leadership roles in full-scale management.

Transition to Entrepreneurship

Yama’s role evolved from touring into 360-degree artist management when she took charge of Indian Ocean, one of India’s most influential and enduring bands. Managing them from 2019 to 2023, she played a pivotal role in shaping their creative and commercial strategies during this period. Parallelly, she continued her long-standing association with Parvaaz, whom she has exclusively managed since 2016, overseeing successful tours, releases, and audience growth. In 2023, driven by her vision to create more structured opportunities for independent artists, Yama Seth expanded into entrepreneurial leadership by building a new management vertical within Skillbox.

About Level House

Level House, founded by Yama Seth within Skillbox, India’s third-largest event ticketing platform, is an artist management division dedicated to nurturing culture-forward artists. The company focuses on comprehensive career building through brand development, touring, content strategy, and business modelling. Her workshops and educational sessions, conducted in partnership with incubators and music institutions across the country, help shape the next generation of music professionals. Guided by a vision to build a more inclusive, organised, and artist-centric industry, Yama continues to champion authentic voices and culturally rooted talent.
