What You’ll Do:
Strategy Development & Cultural Marketing
Develop both long-term and short-term marketing strategies to position Indian music across South Asian diaspora markets.
Build marketing campaigns that reflect Indian music’s influence on global pop culture.
Engage audiences across streaming platforms, social media, radio, live events, and more.
Tailor strategies for sub-segments within the diaspora (e.g., Gen Z, young professionals, first-generation immigrants).
Pursue cross-industry partnerships in fashion, food, lifestyle, tech and beyond.
Align marketing efforts with artists, labels, repertoire teams, and publicists.
Public Relations & Media Outreach
Cultivate strong relationships with traditional and digital media outlets focused on music, culture, and entertainment.
Pitch compelling stories showcasing Indian music’s global relevance.
Organize press conferences, artist interviews, and media collaborations.
Content Creation & Community Engagement
Foster community engagement through interactive content, virtual events, challenges, and fan activations.
Collaborate with South Asian and multicultural influencers to create high-impact digital campaigns.
Oversee content creation for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and digital ads.
Target college/university networks to promote music and engage younger audiences.
Data Analysis, Research & Performance Tracking
Track campaign performance via analytics tools and generate actionable insights.
Adapt marketing strategies based on data analysis and audience behavior.
Study trends in South Asian diaspora markets to stay ahead of musical and cultural shifts.
Identify and segment key audiences based on demographics and cultural interests.
Budget Management
Manage marketing budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
Track key growth metrics: streams, audience engagement, social media impact.
Provide detailed performance reports to internal stakeholders.
Who You Are:
Culturally Fluent: Deep understanding of South Asian communities and global diaspora music markets.
Digital Native: Skilled in digital marketing, social media engagement, and paid media strategies.
Experienced: 4–5 years in top entertainment or media companies.
Data-Driven: Strong ability to analyze campaign data and optimize strategies.
Creative and Strategic: Experienced in PR, content marketing, event planning, and project management.
Educational Background: MBA or relevant Postgraduate degree preferred.
Passionate: Deep love for music, arts, and global culture.
