As Lollapalooza India returns to Mumbai for its fourth edition, BookMyShow Live says it has been working with relevant city and transport authorities to align festival operations with existing civic infrastructure and improve attendee movement to and from the venue.
Lollapalooza India 2026 takes place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 24–25, with planning extending beyond on-ground production to crowd flow, entry management and last-mile connectivity for the weekend.
Metro access
For the first time at Lollapalooza India, the Aqua Metro Line is being positioned as a primary public transport route to the site. Attendees can get off at Science Centre Station (B2 Exit), which connects to a second festival entry gate created to reduce congestion at the main access points.
BookMyShow Live also said it will offer a limited, first-come-first-served beverage redemption for attendees arriving by metro, subject to availability, upon showing a valid festival wristband and metro ticket at the festival counter.
Local train access
The festival’s ongoing #TakeTheTrain campaign continues for 2026, with Mahalaxmi station highlighted as the closest local train stop for the venue. A similar limited beverage redemption is being offered to attendees who arrive by train, on presentation of a festival wristband and train ticket at the festival counter, while supplies last.
Cityflo shuttles
Attendees can also book seats on dedicated Cityflo shuttle services to and from the venue via the Cityflo app:
- Register on the Cityflo app and choose a pick-up location
- Set the drop-off point as “Lollapalooza India”, then select date, time and seat
- Review ride details and complete payment to receive a confirmation email from Cityflo
Parking advisory and ride-hailing
Organisers have reiterated that there is no parking at the venue, encouraging attendees to use public transport and official mobility options. A dedicated Uber pick-up and drop-off facility will operate from the NSCI Dome.
BookMyShow Live framed the measures as part of a broader approach to staging large-scale live events in collaboration with city stakeholders, aiming to reduce friction around access and integrate festival logistics responsibly within Mumbai’s urban environment.
