Leads marketing and promotion for music releases. Drives artist growth through digital campaigns, DSP pitching, content strategy and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for single, EP and album releases.
  • Build rollout strategies across short-form content, social media, PR, creators, influencers and community marketing.
  • Coordinate with artists and management teams on content calendars and campaign assets.
  • Pitch releases and editorial opportunities to DSPs including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and others.
  • Identify trends, moments and cultural opportunities that can amplify releases organically.
  • Manage paid media campaigns where required.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare post-release reports with actionable insights.
  • Build relationships with creators, influencers, media, radio, playlist curators and brand partners.
  • Work closely with A&R, creative, distribution and management teams throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Help develop artist brands beyond individual releases.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in music marketing, label marketing or artist marketing.
  • Strong understanding of DSP ecosystems and music consumption trends.
  • Experience planning digital campaigns from pre-release through post-release.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage release timelines from acquisition through delivery and launch.
  • Coordinate with artists, managers, producers, distributors, designers and marketing teams.
  • Oversee metadata, assets, release schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Support A&R in identifying, evaluating and developing artists and projects.
  • Manage recording timelines, clearances, artwork approvals and release documentation.
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are completed.

Requirements

Ideal candidate

Lead and grow our sync licensing business by securing music placements across ads, film, TV, OTT, and brand partnerships to maximize catalog revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, pitch, and close sync licensing opportunities across advertising agencies, OTT platforms, production houses, brand content studios, and film/TV projects.
  • Build and maintain a structured sync pitch deck organized by mood, genre, tempo, and use case.
  • Manage the complete deal cycle from outreach and negotiation to licensing, contracts, and payment collection.
  • Track and report on outreach, response rates, deals closed, and revenue generated.
  • Build and manage relationships with music supervisors, ad agencies, brand managers, OTT platforms, and production houses.
  • Develop and execute a targeted B2B outreach strategy with personalized pitches and consistent follow-ups.
  • Identify brand partnership opportunities for Outwrite’s catalog and artists.
  • Initiate partnerships with international sync agencies and sub-publishers across the UK, US, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Outwrite catalog, including mood, use cases, and licensing status.
  • Support catalog acquisition by identifying music gaps and sync market opportunities.
  • Monitor trends in music licensing, sync fees, and brand partnerships.
  • Ensure catalog metadata, rights, and documentation remain sync-ready.
  • Own the sync and licensing revenue pipeline with clear quarterly targets.
  • Build reporting systems to track revenue by source, track, and client.
  • Contribute to the company’s overall revenue strategy.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in music licensing, sync sales, music publishing, brand partnerships, or music/media business development.
  • Strong understanding of sync licensing, including master and publishing rights, licensing terms, territories, and usage.
  • Proven experience building and closing B2B partnerships.
  • Confident with cold outreach, negotiations, and relationship building.
  • Existing or quickly buildable network across ad agencies, OTT platforms, production houses, and brand content studios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
