Google notes that you can’t choose which songs you want to listen to, it is only pre-populated playlists on offer.

Users have the option to upgrade to YouTube Music Premium for $9.99 each month. The benefits of a subscription include listening to music on-demand, offline listening, and more.

An upgrade to YouTube Music Premium also lets you background play music through the YouTube Music app and allows downloads for offline listening when you’re on-the-go. Best of all, listening is completely ad-free across every device. If you’re new to YouTube Music Premium, get a free 30-day trial.

YouTube has made it easy to set YouTube Music as the music provider in your home.

Here’s how to start with Google Home:

If you already have a Google Home, navigate to Account Settings in your Google Home app. Tap on Services, and select Music. Then, select YouTube Music as the default music service. If you are setting up a new Google Home speaker, choose YouTube Music as the default music service.

The new ad-supported music streaming service from Amazon is available for use through the company’s lineup of Echo speaker and other Alexa devices in the US.

Earlier last month YouTube Music India surpasses 3 million downloads within the first week of its launch.
