Any user who hasn’t previously subscribed to Spotify Premium’s monthly subscription service is eligible to sign up for a free one-month trial, which gives users access to ad-free high-quality audio and more perks from Spotify. An existing Spotify user can also link the Spotify account to PS Music compatible devices.
To make controlling the music even easier, PS4 and PS3 users will be able to take advantage of the Spotify Connect feature on the official Spotify app for Android/iOS. User can select a playlist, skip songs, adjust the volume, and more. PS4 owners can also let friends and family know what tracks they’re listening to using PS4’s share button feature.
Lastly, PlayStation Music also supports the PS4’s Share functionality, which means users can let their fellow PlayStation friends know what tracks they are currently listening to on Spotify.
The streaming giant’s Premium is an ongoing subscription with a regular subscription fee which is deducted from the user’s wallet (at the then current PS Store price). At the end of your trial, the subscription will continue and the user will be billed for the next month’s access (at the then current price) unless the user cancels the subscription before the end of the trial.
Recently, Spotify launched Spotify Lite Beta in India.
