Rise India Awards to honour COVID crusaders in its first episode on 8th May

93.5 RED FM and Music Plus are ready with their first episode of ‘Rise India Awards’ where five COVID crusaders from different walks of life will be felicitated. While the whole world is reeling under the crisis of COVID-19 outbreak, these warriors are leaving no stone unturned to do their bit in their own capacity.

‘Rise India Awards’ celebrates the heroes who have stepped up to fight the virus and are keeping us safe, during this pandemic. Right from health workers, doctors, police, armed forces, celebrities, influencers to common people, anyone can either self-nominate or nominate someone who is doing notable work in this life-threatening hour.

Scheduled on 8th May 2020, the virtual awards ceremony will have Indian artists interacting and performing from their houses with these Corona crusaders. The first episode features popular musicians and composers like Amit Trivedi, Shankar Mahadevan, Siddharth Mahadevan, Shivam Mahadevan, Rekha Bhardwaj, Asees Kaur, and Neeti Mohan.

While the first episode airs on 8th May 2020 at 7 PM IST on RED FM’s Facebook and YouTube handles, the host platforms are encouraging people to nominate their COVID crusaders through the RED FM India application.
