In week 16 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R) data, no major changes in the position of top five music channels. The only change in the position is between MTV Beats HD and Sony Rox HD where MTV Beats HD is at 13th position beating Sony Rox HD with 1755 Impressions (‘000s). Mastiii, however, dropped in numbers from 146504 Impressions (‘000s) to 143644 Impressions (‘000s), still at the top.
Though 9XM saw a major rise in numbers from 131725 Impressions (‘000s) to 139934 Impressions (‘000s); it didn’t help the channels position, it is at the second spot, same as last week.
Sony MIX dropped in numbers from 117648 Impressions (‘000s) to 116342 Impressions (‘000s) but managed to hold its position at the third, same as last week. B4U Music is at fourth with 115936 Impressions (‘000s).
MTV Beats finished week 16 at the fifth position with a drop in its numbers from 114359 Impressions (‘000s) to 110783 Impressions (‘000s). VH1 HD finished week 16 at the last position with 968 Impressions (‘000s).
