Danish music streaming app Moodagent, which made its way to India earlier this year, has launched its first brand campaign, ‘We’re Moodagent. We’re here’, in the country.
Unlike other players in the market, Moodagent allows users’ moods to create a playlist. Tap on the ‘mood’ and choose from sensual, tender, happy, angry and tempo. The service, which is available on Apple and Google Play Store, and Mi Store and Huawei App Gallery, is priced at ₹119 per month. There’s also a 14-day free trial available for those on the fence.
‘We’re Moodagent. We’re here’ asks users to create their own listening experience and promises to be here for all of life’s ups and downs – with a playlist to match.
Created in-house by Copenhagen-based Moodagent, the campaign brings alive the brand thought that every distinct mood deserves its own playlist.
Jyoti Handa, Executive Vice-President and Managing Director, Moodagent India, in a statement said, “We at Moodagent are excited to launch our first digital campaign for the Indian market. The idea behind the campaign is to showcase how the flexibility, mobility, and adaptability of Moodagent empowers listeners to lean into their individuality. We believe that music discovery should be simple, fun, and interactive, but also appreciate how it can have a profound impact on our daily lives. We want to connect artists and listeners – build a community – around that idea; that the music you listen to may define you for a moment, but you always have the power to explore and challenge what makes you, you. Whatever you find, we’re here for it.”
Launched as a streaming service in Denmark in 2019, Moodagent has expanded to Europe and Australia before entering the APAC region. In India, the service is spearheaded by Handa.
