Mirchi, one of the leading music and entertainment companies, has announced the appointment of Farhad Wadia as head-North America. In his new role, Wadia has been entrusted for the expansion of Mirchi’s businesses in the United States of America and Canada.
Speaking on the development, Prashant Panday, MD and CEO, Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), said,
“We are glad to have Farhad Wadia on board to lead us in the North American market. We are certain that his rich experience will help Mirchi build a strong presence in North America.”
Farhad Wadia has a work experience of over 35 years across industries and geographies and has led multiple companies such as Channel 4 Networks UAE, Hindustan Times Delhi, Network 18 India, and Samuel Jewelers USA.
Speaking exclusively to Music Plus, Wadia shared his plans for his role,
“I look forward to growing the vibrant Radio Mirchi Brand in the US and Canada and offer our customers and listeners a rich entertainment experience that will reach and entertain them On Air, Digitally on the web and also On Ground in the Live Entertainment spheres.”
Owned by Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), Mirchi is an all-encompassing music and entertainment company that hosts FM radio brand Radio Mirchi. Launched in 2001. Earlier this year, Mirchi forayed into the Middle East, relaunching in the UAE and Bahrain, and entering Qatar.
