Homegrown is looking for applicants in Motion Graphics / Video Editor. Do you thrive in creative environments and have a strong aesthetic? As part of a dynamic team, the role will require your experience with print & digital media to further marketing, social & design campaigns/festivals through engaging visual communication across various channels (online & offline).
We are looking for someone who can work across verticals, take direction from written/ spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into visuals, layouts & content. Creativity. Tech chops. Versatility. Knowledge of branding and marketing techniques, with strong insight into youth and social culture, identity, visual arts, music, fashion, street culture, social justice and more: The role requires an understanding of various online social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Youtube & the Web; as well as offline content: festival branding & advertising. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
Roles/Responsibilities/Skills:
➔ Relevant agency experience in the related field & strong motion graphics, design and video editing background is a PLUS
➔ Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro & Creative Suite programs.
➔ Strong Graphic design skills: A balance of identity, typography, and layout skills (Cinema 4D experience is a PLUS)
➔ Conceptualise & produce content for various digital platforms: Campaign execution, presentation layouts, design, social media posts and templates
➔ Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation.
➔ Ability to think visually, to conceptualise stories, and to edit video packages independently
➔ Ability to understand brand identities/voices across multiple verticals to execute brand campaigns & social visual strategy
➔ Engage in referencing, pitches & deck development
➔ Contribute to creative and ideation discussions
➔ Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency.
➔ To work with creative directors & teams to support larger media goals and development Attributes:
